SMS Opt-in Terms

How CashOffer123 collects your consent to text you, and exactly what we send.

The program

Program name: CashOffer123 Customer Care text messages.
Sender: CashOffer123 LLC, trading as CashOffer123, from 216-899-2274 (216-899-CASH).

From 216-899-2274 we send one-to-one customer-care texts to property owners who have contacted us first about selling a property: replies to your questions, requests for property details, and scheduling or confirming a walkthrough or inspection. We do not send marketing or promotional texts from this number, and we never text anyone from it who has not contacted us. Follow-up texts after a call we place are a separate program, from a separate number, described under Follow-up texts after our call below.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of selling your property to us.
  • No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

How you opt in

There are three ways, and every one of them starts with you contacting us.

1. On our website

Every form on this site that asks for a phone number — the cash offer form, the contact form and the referral form — shows a checkbox directly beneath the phone field. It is unchecked by default, ticking it is optional, and the form submits with or without it. The checkbox reads:

I agree to receive text messages from CashOffer123 at the phone number provided regarding my property inquiry, including requests for property information and appointment scheduling. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may also be called about your inquiry.

Links to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions appear immediately under the checkbox. If you leave it unticked we still call or email you back; we just do not text you.

2. By texting us first

If you text 216-899-2274 before we have ever texted you, our first reply confirms your opt-in:

CashOffer123: You are now opted in to text messages about your property inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.

After an opt-out, texting START, YES or UNSTOP to the same number opts you back in and sends the same confirmation.

3. On a phone call

If you call 216-899-2274 and a representative would like to follow up by text, they must ask, in these words, before any text is sent:

“May we text you at this number about your property inquiry? Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.”

A “yes” is recorded in our customer records with the date and time of the call, and the first text we then send is the opt-in confirmation shown above, so you have the terms in writing and a STOP instruction in hand from the first message.

Follow-up texts after our call (216-480-7203)

We also call property owners in Greater Cleveland whose names come from public property records. These calls are made from 216-480-7203, and the caller says at the start that they are calling for CashOffer123. If, during that call, the owner is interested in selling and wants more information, the caller asks:

“Is it okay if I text you a quick note with our number?”

Only an owner who answers yes receives a text, and the answer is recorded in our customer records with the date and time, the call’s ID and the owner’s exact words. The text is a single thank-you with our main number:

CashOffer123: Thanks for talking with us today, [First Name]. A CashOffer123 representative will call you back shortly. Call or text 216-899-2274 anytime. Reply STOP to opt out.

We do not send promotional or bulk texts from 216-480-7203. Reply STOP to stop all texts and calls from this program; the number goes on a permanent do-not-contact list. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
